Welcome to Iowa Prep Sports/KCRG's weekly football live chat! Jeff, Jeff, and K.J. will begin answering your questions at 8:00. Feel free to leave them ahead of time.
Lindy is taking Youtube music requests to listen to during live chat. I request "Come Dancing" by The Kinks.
Had a little Jefferson Starship going to begin. Now on to 10,000 Maniacs.
You can never go wrong with Engelbert Humperdink.
We play a game called "Name the Year" when a song comes on 80's Channel of Music Choice. I am literally always one year off. How about "Don't You Forget About Me"
breakfast club must have been '85.
And don't you forget to watch Live Prep Football on KCRG 9.2 this Friday at 7 p.m. This week is Cascade at Center Point-Urbana

Another key game in 2A-4.

All building up to a title showdown between Cascade and Beckman. ALTHOUGH, Mr. Linder has gone with CPU as an upset special.
Howdy, Seth! What's on your mind tonight?
CR Jefferson at Kingston.
Just want to make sure Football11's question didn't get buried: "Who are the top 3 teams in 1A District 5?"
OK, boys. What was the most surprising result from last week? I'm going Eddyville-Blakesburg over Sigourney-Keota.
Maquoketa Valley, Clayton Ridge and North Cedar, but Tipton is right there with them
I think Maquoketa Valley and Clayton Ridge have a little margin between them and Tipton and North Cedar.
Yes, they were a little banged up early in the season. I think the loss to West Delaware was a bgi example of it.
I think the Blazers still win that district.
Well, there you go D6. Good work
Something we've discussed at work ... wondering what will happen if Kennedy and Washington earn top-8 seeds in 4A East ... Kingston doubleheader?
I don't, but as I say quite often, my prediction record is 2-214. I also had Tipton as my upset special against Maq Valley.
Projection: If Kennedy splits last two, Cougars will be a No. 7 seed; if Washington wins two, the Warriors will be No. 8.
The more I think about it the more I doubt they would have an outdoor double-header. I would like to see one at Kingston.
I doubt they would too, KJ, but they should do it. If they can do it at the Dome, they SHOULD do it for a pair of teams that earned the right to host.
