While two intact bullets were found, as well as one partial copper jacket, no spend bullets were found.
Some crime scene photographs are going to be entered into evidence.
Under cross, Hartman says another officer says parked over some blood stains and some bullets recovered.
Blood stains were found inside the hallway of the building and inside an apartment. No indication of where those stains came from.
15 minute afternoon break.
Next state witness is Nicole Blosser.
She was living in Pheasant Ridge at the time of the shooting.
She was living with her 6 month old daughter and Ivan Hardamon, the child's daughter.
Ivan and Nicole were outside having a cigarette when they heard the gunshots and ran inside. Ivan got a phone call.
He left the apartment and came back with Brandon Brown.
During the drive, Brown told Ivan he shot somebody.
After driving back to Iowa City, Ivan and Nicole drove to Brandon's girlfriend's house. She gave them a box.
The box contained two, small black guns.
They took the box of guns to the Breckenridge Mobile Home Park and left the guns with a couple there.
Ivan was later killed in a shoot out with police at Breckenridge.
Nicole eventually told police what happened, but only after withholding information during two interviews. She said she didn't want anything to do about it.
Sissel will cross-examine Blosser.
Blosser actually denied knowledge of the crime on 3 occasions and concocted a cover story when she first spoke to officers. She claimed to have been staying with friends the night of the shooting and only learned of it when her mother texted her. Furthermore, she said Brandon Brown hadn't been to her residence in months.
Blosser apparently never told police she heard Brandon tell Ivan he shot someone.
Sissesl is questioning why Blosser would drive 7-8 hours, round trip, take a couple hour nap and just decide to drop in on the friends at Breckenridge.
We're done for the day. Thanks for following.
Back Monday morning at 9.
