Bergan just said she's going to be excusing some of the panel since two other jury trials expected to go today won't be happening.
Bergan is explaining the case, timing of the case, etc.
Trial is scheduled for 9 days, but Bergan doesn't expect it to take that long.
32 names have been drawn at random. Jury selection will likely take all day, maybe part of tomorrow.
Jurors are going to be filling out the questionnaires shortly.
All 100 are being sworn in now.
OK. I'm back. Jurors are currently being interviewed about potential medical concerns they'd have with serving on the jury.
Assistant County Attorney Dana Christiansen will now begin asking the jury pool questions, beginning with any knowledge they have of parties involved in the case - attorneys, witnesses, etc.
