I'm sure they will. The jurors, at least, in this district, always seem to be attentive during trials and usually take some time before coming to a verdict.
That's why I have the blog to discuss the case and people can post comments, within reason. Everybody has a different opinion and it's their right but it is up to the jury. Again, they can consider circumstantial evidence. Realistically, that's mostly what there is in a murder trial or a child abuse case. Nobody typically see it.
I don't know. I thought her kids weren't taken away until she was arrested and charged which was in 2011. That's what her attorney even said.
I think this is a good time to take a break. The jurors have ordered lunch, so no verdict at this point. I will check back in this afternoon.
On break. No verdict yet.
Yes. It starts Oct. 8. Johnathan Mitchell is the defendant. It should go 2 weeks.
Should be. It's really sad. A lot of people cared for Cathy Stickley, especially her kids and grandchildren. Everybody had great things to say about her.
I'm not sure. It probably just depends on when the verdict comes in. If it happens late Friday afternoon - sad to say it will interfere with football games so they probably won't.
Well, he hasn't been convicted at this point. The death penalty is a tough one. I think people have difficulty putting people away for life.
Anybody else sleepy? I think it's the weather. And it's kind of quiet up here this afternoon. Not much action.
Thought I would post those. I didn't get them all posted the other day.
He was convicted in 2010 in Skylar Inman's death. He made a plea and has served his time. Tyler JOhnston, Parmer's attorney, defended him.
I've seen that photo so many times but it's still sad.
Hey guys, no verdict today. Just got word jury is leaving. And here they go.
Thanks for following! If a verdict comes in before Monday, I will see you on the next one!
